I can't believe that anyone could confuse our country with China; that statement is lost on me.
This station is anything but the run of the mill classical station. It delivers a very wide cross section of music, not just classical but broadway, movie, jazz and a good selection of sacred music. That is the very reason that it has listeners from all of those sectors. If this station served just sacred music it would soon fail. That is a niche that is too small for success.
Adding another stream of broadcast would cost a fortune and would have a limited audience.
Please don't ask this station to limit itself; it has a winning audience and format as it stands.
I'm sure that there are stations out there that cater to your wishes; just look for them!!

To my knowledge, there was no problem with the station's transmission on the date you quote. A lot depends on where you are located and the type of equipment you are using. Has anything been changed as to these items?
Another thing is how your equipment is set and adjusted; could someone have switched the FM setting to AFC for example or moved the automatic stereo setting? I have also had my antenna become unattached for some reason.
Lots of things to check. If I can be of help in solving this just let me know with any new information!!
Re: Don Wolff's new tv show

I am pleased to see your interest. The show will run on the HEC, the higher education channel and is shown at different times. One has to check their programming from time to time. I wish they had a better menu showing the times but that might improve with interest from us, the public. The show is filmed at the Bistro and is pretty well done. The guests will represent different types of jazz and will play to younger and older audiences as well. Let them know that you are interested and want more information on Don's show as well as others.

I was surprised and thrilled to see Don's tv show last night. I had congratulated him on this site months ago and it was just an extra hoot to see him on tv as well. One of his guests last night was a lady that I worked with for many years. Jeannie Trevor is one of our landmarks and a great singer; it was good to see her and listen to her again.
